A joint effort between a plethora of Blockchain projects, professionals, and service providers, aiming to upscale the decentralized gaming experience to its modest form, the DeFi Gaming Coalition was born.
DGC In A Nutshell
The DeFi Gaming Coalition is essentially an open community of DeFi leaders and pioneers, tech savvies, gamers, and fintech professionals among other enthusiasts. DGC’s goal is to bridge the innovations brought to the broader Ethereum network by DeFi protocols, with the multi-billion dollar, well-established gaming industry that lacks the incentive to join the blockchain train, analogizing the complexity such involvement requires from participants.
To speed up and ease the process of implementing Web3 goodies into traditional gaming platforms, the DGC envisions a gamification plan that would make deep DeFi easy to grasp, but also fun and educating at the same time. In parallel to that, the DGC acts as an incubator for new and existing projects seeking to contribute to the gaming industry through DeFi.
The overall plan is to be in a position to welcome, foster, and support the development of decentralized token-based economies that are more familiar and pleasant to navigate for gaming enthusiasts and don’t necessarily look like a Bloomberg terminal.
In addition, we’re committed to bringing edgy use-cases revolving around token functions, NFTs, and automated smart-contracts, while enhancing the security of all projects that fall under the DGC umbrella.
