Another strong week both on partnerships, announcements, and community engagement! We are so excited with the path we’ve been doing, and of course with what’s yet to come!
Building the Exeedme with our community
This week we received important feedback from the community members who participated in the Beta Tournament — so a special thank you to those who took the time to provide us with thoughtful feedback! We were pleased with the overall response to the platform’s performance and look, and grateful for the helpful suggestions on what can be improved going forward. Our dedicated development team is working on integrating improvements to the platform continuously, and we look forward to providing an even higher quality platform on the next round… And we’re getting closer to that ;)
In the spirit of keeping engagement levels high coming off of the tournament, we also launched two public polls on Twitter and Discord in the last two weeks. The first one was asking which game we should launch on the platform next out of Valorant, Dota 2, League of Legends, and Fifa… and the overwhelming favorite is League of Legends! We can’t disagree. The second poll was launched yesterday and prompted whether users would be willing to sell anonymously their gaming data for $XED on the platform. The result so far is an overwhelming YES, with +90% of respondents saying they’d be open to propelling a new data economy that puts the users at the center of decision. These just triggered some ideas about what features we may consider for the next version of Exeedme Platform!
Partnership with Elrond
Speaking of excitement, we announced a very important partnership this week with the Elrond, who will allow us to accept eGold payments via Maiar. Elrond is known as the “internet scale blockchain” for offering market leading scalability, high speed, and low transaction costs. The Elrond eGold (EGLD) token is native to the Elrond Network and will be used in combination with the Maiar wallet. Naturally we will be working towards integration of this community into our platform via incentives such as top ups, purchases, and subscriptions. Eventually any player who wants to seize their gamer tags as Maiar ‘herotags’ will be able to do so in a fun and personalized way. This partnership expands our horizons further and ensures that our platform is headed in the right direction of maximum interoperability.
The second part is to explore the creation of a dedicated gaming community for Maiar users and give them exclusive opportunities to engage with other Maiar users, play their favorite games and leverage their earnings on Exeedme. I believe this will can work as an example of how other blockchain, wallet and DeFi projects can enhance the experience of their clients/users and communities by allowing them to join dedicated gaming communities that allow them to play their favorite games, leverage DeFi and NFT innovations to increase the bonds and engagement with their users.
News on $ XED token & NFTs utility
Finally, we want to bring to your attention the February update on our Liquidity Program as it currently stands. We understood that the initial enrollment period at the end of January was quite short, so we decided to reduce the initial locking period of 30 days for this month, to less than 20 days! We are offering those who provided liquidity until the 10th and fulfilled the other eligibility requirements their fair share of rewards at the end of the month.
Adding to that, we announced the utility of our first NFTs, our Gold Medals from the Beta Tournament, giving it the function of a multiplier of liquidity rewards. What does it mean? If you own one it will act as a 2x booster of the Liquidity Provided on Uniswap for the Liquidity Rewards Program. In essence your NFT will work as 2x multiplier in the LP allocation. As there are only five of these in the entire market, these are really scarce — so the game is on to grab them! Let’s see how the NFT market moves in the next weeks around this!
