Welcome back, gamers!
This week began by announcing our new Ambassadors program. This program reflects our values of engagement and being a project for the community, by the community. We are offering opportunities for talented and driven individuals with a passion for gaming, DeFi, and NFTs to take a leading role in driving community involvement and development to the next level. The positions can take a variety of forms: to start we are looking for regional community managers, event and tournament organizers, content creators, and also developers to test the platform and offer more valuable insights. Every ambassador will be an advocate and educator within the gaming community on the topics of Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, DeFi, and NFTs, as well as promoting the Exeedme platform as a tool to bring these diverse technologies together to generate value for players.
We also want our ambassadors to act as the interpreters and promoters of new innovations as they are being released to ensure that players understand in-game coins, items, and their uses within the platform. Does this sound like you? Stay tuned for another announcement for applications soon.
Since the Beta Tournament we have been busy upgrading the platform based on all the amazing data and feedback we received. Our development team has put in the work and the time has finally come to play again! We are hosting the first ever Blockchain CS:GO Live Tournament beginning this Sunday, February 28th.
This time, we’ve invited eight prominent Blockchain groups to compete in a 3-week tournament in front of a live audience on Twitch. Each team consists of five players from either the project or the community who have pledged $200 worth of their native token to the main prize. All week we have been announcing who’s joining us in the “Amazing 8” and the final list is out. The teams playing this week are: Aleph.im, Chainlink, Ferrum Network, Ocean Protocol, The ChainGuardians, Ultra, Umbrella Network, and Utrust. Each team brings exciting innovations and perspectives to our platform, and some have recently officially partnered with us to add features to the platform this year. We are really excited for the unexpected things that could happen from this group over the next few weeks.
Important dates for the upcoming quarter-finals are:
- Ferrum Network vs ChainGuardians: Sunday, February 28th @ 9pm GMT
- Chainlink vs Umbrella Network: Monday, March 1st @ 10:30pm GMT
- Ultra vs Aleph.im: Thursday, March 4th @ 9pm GMT
- Ocean Protocol vs Utrust: Friday, March 5th @ 8pm GMT
Each match will also have some time for each project playing to answer some questions from the audience, on Open Camera Live AMAs and some additional surprises :)
Don’t miss any of the action or audience goodies we’ve got in store, see you tomorrow at the match!
Best,
The Exeedme Team
