Welcome to the Revolution Fantasy League
Hello there, gamers, friends, family, holders, everybody!
Surely you will have heard by now of one of the most spectacular esports events in the history of the globe, the Revolution Tournament. It’s already happening as we speak, and you can find the live streams in several languages right here.
Some of the greatest CS:GO players are competing for an incredible prize pool that is being increased thanks to YOU. The whole point of this tournament was to show the world that transparency and inclusiveness aren’t just buzzwords, they are how we intend to make these tournaments happen going forward. The prize pool is being funded by NFT sales and you can watch it growing as people get their hands on their awesome Soldiers, which are part of a membership club called Soldiers Society.
As we speak the prize pool is already approaching 80.000 USD.
But you know what? If we are bringing all esports stakeholders together, then what about those that don’t play? What about those that like to enjoy the streams, engage with the community, are absolutely a part of it all, but aren’t on the main stage?
Should they not get rewarded?
Yes, yes they should.
The Fantasy League is for everyone
Surely you’ll have heard of the concept of fantasy leagues around the wide world of sports. Whether it’s for the NBA, the English Premier League or any other sports event, these are truly delightful competitions where you can pick your favourite superstars, organise your own personal teams catered to your preferences, and gain points whenever your favorites perform well.
We are doing exactly this.
On Thursday the 25th of November, we are dropping a special collection of NFTs that are dedicated to the teams at play in the Revolution Tournament. These NFT cards will feature every single player out there, and you will be able to buy them in whatever way you choose: packs, which will be randomised, or individually.
There are sixteen teams of five players, and every player will come in three levels of rarity (common, rare, and legendary), which means there will be fifteen NFTs for each team for a grand total of 160 different cards. And don’t worry if you don’t get the card you want immediately, the common ones will be minted special for everyone who purchases. You will always be able to get the card of your player although when it comes to rare and legendary you will have to act fast as they are limited.
One pack is enough to play, however!
If your team wins, you win
The Fantasy League will be scored according to what’s actually happening in the Revolution Tournament. If your players perform well, you get rewarded. If your teams win, you win.
All you need to do to participate is to ensure you have a crypto wallet on the Polygon PoS chain, and top it up with some $XED (you can trade for $XED on QuickSwap). Then you will be able to get all your packs and players.
Remember: your team must be ready by December the 1st!
We will also be unveiling a special Fantasy League page with real-time scores,results and stats so you can keep up with all the matches, and also a real-time prize pool update, because… you guessed it… the sales of cards will also go into a prize pool.
